ONE2ONE GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES AT THE START OF THE CLASS
iPad Carts: NExT-IT technicians will deliver carts/bag.
iPad Distribution: Tables should be cleared of all things before the iPad is claimed. An orderly line of no more than five students at a time, will get the iPads.
In a One2One class, get the iPad corresponding to your class number.
For group-shared iPad activities, iPad # should correspond to group #. (e.g. lowest iPad# is for group 1,... last iPad# is for the last group)
Practice (BURRA) and place iPads on the center of the table.
Turning ON: iPads may be turned ON upon the signal of the teacher. If not needed, turn off or put to sleep mode (blank screen).
iPad Handling: Hold the iPad with both hands. Tap and swipe gently. Avoid scratching with sharp objects, dropping or bumping on the table.
DURING WORK TIME:
REFRAIN from from opening, moving and deleting other people’s file and any non-subject related activities.
Ask 3 before me. Ask yourself, the persons to your left and right before asking the teacher.
Remain on your seats and work only on your iPads unless otherwise instructed by the teacher. If you are sharing one iPad, make sure the others can see what you are doing. Ideally, take turns.
AFTER WORK TIME:
Close all open/minimized applications before shutting down the device. Put the iPad to sleep mode then place it on the center of the table.
Returning of iPads: An orderly line of no more than five students at a time, will return the iPads to the cart.
Inspect your iPad and report and log any damage on the logbook placed on top of each cart.
iPad Carts: NExT-IT technicians will claim back the carts/bag from the classroom.
MAC LABORATORY GUIDELINES
Line-up properly outside the MAC Lab.
Sit according to your class number. Practice BURRA.
Refrain from opening, moving and deleting other people’s file.
Keep the desktop neat. Store your files in a folder assigned, not on the desktop.
Arrange the keyboard, mouse and chair before leaving.
