G9 One2One Program FAQ's
1. What iPad model can I use for the One2One Program?
Any model meeting the minimum specification may be used but the recommended model is an iPad Air v2.0 128gb Wifi. Based on our study, this model is the most suitable for our needs. The minimum specification is an iPad 4th Generation or any iPad mini model.*
Apple just launched its latest iPad last March 24, 2017, called iPad (9.7).
We also recommend the new iPad 128 gb Wifi model.
*Although cellular/3G models will be allowed, students will not be allowed to use the cellular function in school.
The school does not recommend the iPad Pro. Aside from the unit itself being very expensive, its accompanying accessories are equally as pricey. Its size is more prone to accidents as it is not as handy. There will be a different insurance policy for the iPad Pro.
For iPad model questions and requests, kindly email Ms. Jessica Demegillo at [email protected].
2. What external accessories should I purchase?
You are required to purchase an iPad case to protect your device. You may use any iPad case, as long as it can be used as a stand (to assist you when you are typing or reading on your desk). A small sling bag is also required; most accidents happen when students are not mindful of the devices they are holding, most specially during breaks. A Bluetooth keyboard may be used but it is not required.
